About the Department
The Karnataka Government has a separate Ministry and the departmental programs are implemented at district level and Taluk level with the guidance of the Principal Secretary and the Director of the department headed by the state level Honorable Minister.

Working Women Hostel
Women who are working in either government or private Sector and also who are taking training in various fields are eligible to stay in this hostels by paying minimal amount for food and accommodation.
