Department Activities

Testing for confirmation of pregnancy by asha.. Every month conduct pmsma camps on 9th to screen 2 nd , 3 rd trimester pw, identification of hrp, track all high risk pw and refer for delivery in first referral unit, screening for anemia, and treatment, screening for hiv in pregnancy , conduct review meetings to know cause of deaths chaired by dy commissioner of the dist. Payment of monetary incentives to delivered women. Referral of low birth weight neonates, screening of birth defects by rbsk teams and refer for treatment. Routine immunisation of pw and children 0-24 months. Capacity building of medical personnel, reporting to the state monthly of the progress.

JANANI SURAKSHA YOJANA monetary benefit is given for all delivered women in the govt hospitals BPL SC ST irrespective of age and parity. .this is dbt .jssk is a cash free scheme for pregnant women to seek care , free lab tests, free scan, free blood transfusion, free transport to drop back the delivered lady, free referral to infants upto one year.

E JANMA Portal registration of all births , MOTHER CHILD CARD KNOWN as Tayi card which is issued to all PW at the time of registration and updated with her EDD, birth Immunization status, 4 times visits to the doctor , her nutritional status.
